How to quickly understand the platform

  • 1. After logging in to the Account and entering the Homepage, click [Start using the Learning Version for free], edit the Subject name and enter the Learning Subject for further operation.
  • 2. After creating a Learning Subject, start uploading research data to the platform.
  • 3. After uploading the data, proofread and revise the field type of the data.
  • 4. After the proofreading and revision of the data field type, start to set the configurations of the Coding page, that is, to select the data content field in the corresponding area.
  • 5. After setting up the coding page, click Submit Data, and the data will be uploaded to the platform. Click View Data to view the data details in the Coding Pool.
  • 6. Import the uploaded data randomly into the Pretest Pool for the coding pretest.
  • 7. After the data import, click [Create a Question] on the Categorization page to start creating categories, and click [Keywords] on the right side of the category options to set keywords for the options.
  • 8. After setting the keywords, go to the Overview page and click [Machine Coding] of the corresponding database to execute the machine coding of the data in the database.
  • 9. After the machine coding process, start coding the text on the Coding page. The “Machine Advice” items identified in the options bar on the right are the results of machine coding.
  • 10. After completing the coding, you can view or adjust the coding results on the Quality Monitoring page.
  • 11. After adjusting the coding results, go to the Statistical Analysis page and click [Create a Chart] to convert the coding results into visualization charts.
  • 12. Drag the variables from the [Customized Variables] and [Default Variables] into the corresponding Dimensions, then select the Chart Type; name the chart, and finally Save the chart to complete the chart creation.
