In content analysis, at least two coders are required to perform coding work. These independent coders analyze the same piece of information or recorded content (the unit of analysis) and aim for consistency and validity. This consistency is presented in a quantified manner, which is called “inter-coder reliability”. This platform uses Holsti’s Coefficient Reliability as an indicator to calculate the reliability of coders. It is recommended that coders participate in the inter-coder reliability test. The Reliability Test section is further divided into: “Precoding”, “Reliability Calculation” and “Tracking”.
