How to add and manage Subject members?

There are two types of accounts of the Subject: administrator(s) and coder(s). The difference is that administrators can perform all management operations, such as creating and managing databases, modifying coding results, and doing statistical analysis. Coders can only access the coding page and perform manual coding on the content.

To add an administrator or coder to an existing Subject, click [Invite Members] on the right side of the Subject list.

There are two ways to add members. The first method is to “Add through search”: enter an existing DiVoMiner® user’s nickname or email information for search, then select whether this user is an “Administrator” or “Coder,” and click “Add” to invite the member to this Subject.

Note: The number of administrators and coders in a Subject project is limited to the Subject capacity. If the number of administrators in the current Subject is full, you cannot add more administrators. If you need to add, please upgrade the Subject (go to the Subject list and select the corresponding Subject, then choose [Extend/Upgrade]).

The second way is to [Add through link]: copy the link in the pop-up window and send it to others. The member who has access of the link can join the Subject with the Subject administrator’s approval.

To change the role of a Subject member or delete a member, go to the Subject setting section, and click [Subject member] to switch the member’s role. And click [Remove] on the right side of the member to delete this member.
